Sculpture was created in April 2014 by first scanning a wax cast made at Crawford's Casting (Strathfield, NSW) of life-size version of Stretching the imagination (2005) and digitally scanning, enlarging to approximately 3x life-size and ‘printing’ this in polymer; then wax version was cast from polymer enlargement; enlarged wax version detailed by artist at foundry; mould taken and sculpture cast in bronze.
