Close-Knit Family - figurative bronze sculpture by contemporary Australian artist Susan Dorothea White. The sculpture is inspired by the idiom 'close-knit family', meaning a family held tightly together. The pattern of a knitted garment is created in bronze to symbolise the closeness of family members, who are 'knitted' into a single unit.
