SUSAN DOROTHEA WHITE  is a painter, sculptor and printmaker with a career spanning 50 years. Based in Sydney, she exhibits internationally and has held solo shows in New York, Amsterdam, Cologne, and Munich, as well as in Australia.

Her art is represented in public and private collections worldwide including The National Gallery of Australia (Canberra), The Buhl Collection (New York), The Hechinger Collection, International Arts & Artists (Washington), Majdanek Museum (Lublin), and regional galleries in Australia.

Susan Dorothea White has participated in numerous international group exhibitions and biennales. She is author of Draw Like Da Vinci (2006) – published in English, French, Danish and Hungarian.

A multidisciplinary artist, Susan White produces work in a range of media from acrylic and watercolour to mixed-media sculpture assemblage, carving, and bronze. Her printmaking techniques include lithography, etching, and woodblock.

Drawing is the foundation of her art — her sketchbook is always at hand.
