SUSAN DOROTHEA WHITE is an internationally exhibiting artist, living and working in Sydney. She is the author of Draw Like Da Vinci (Cassell, 2006). Her art is acclaimed by reviews in New York, The Netherlands, Germany, and France and she is represented in public and private collections worldwide, including The National Gallery of Australia (Canberra), The Buhl Collection (New York), and The Hechinger Collection (Washington DC). She has represented Australia in numerous international exhibitions and biennales.

Susan Dorothea White has produced a large body of work and has exhibited since 1957. She is a multifaceted artist, unrestricted in her use of media, which include painting in oil, acrylic, watercolour, and collage, printmaking in lithography, woodcut, etching, drawing in pen, pastel, pencil, silverpoint and goldpoint, sculpture in bronze, carving in wood and stone, and mixed-media assemblage.
